The following awards are made annually through and by the New Zealand Principals’ Federation.

NZPF Awards

NZPF awards for members who have served their fellow principals and the education sector in New Zealand with distinction. Applications close 11 June.

David Stewart Memorial Scholarship

This is a joint initiative between the NZEI and NZPF. The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide educational leaders with the opportunity for research study that honours the work of Dr David Stewart.

NZPF Service Certificate – Retiring Principals

To mark the retirement of school principals, NZPF has developed a special Service Award.  If your local principals’ association is aware of any retiring principals in your region then have your President email us the principal’s name(s) and where you would like this to be sent. We will then prepare a Service Award which will be sent for presentation at your local principals’ association function.
